Nita Ambani from   Reliance Foundation has donated Rs 21 crore to the state's Chief Minister's Relief Fund and materials like food and other products worth Rs 50 crore have been distributed among the flood-affected victims.

Reliance Foundation has said to take care of all the affected colleges and schools. Reliance Foundation appointed a team of 30 people for rescue work.

கிருஷ்ணர் தனக்காக இல்லாமல் பிறருக்காக வாழ்ந்தவர். அதனால்தான் இவரை “கண்ணா'' ''முகுந்தா'' என்று பல பெயர்களில் அழைக்கிறோம். 

வீட்டிற்கு வருகை: 
கிருஷ்ண ஜெயந்தி தினத்தில் பகவான் கிருஷ்ணர் நம் வீட்டிற்கு வந்து அருள்பாலிப்பதே கோகுலாஷ்டமியின் முக்கிய அம்சமாக பார்க்கப்படுகிறது. 

அதனால் தான் கிருஷ்ண ஜெயந்தி அன்று வீட்டை கழுவி சுத்தம் செய்து, அரிசி மாவால் கோலமிட்டு, மாவிலை தோரணங்களால் அலங்கரிகிறோம். வாசலில் தொடங்கி பூஜை அரை வரை குழந்தையின் கால் தடங்களை அரிசி மாவால் பதிக்கிறோம். ஆலிலை கிருஷ்ணன் தனது பிஞ்சு பாதங்களை அடிமேல் அடி வைத்து வீட்டுக்குள் தத்தித்தத்தி நடந்து வருவதாக ஐதீகம்.

மதுரா நகரில் தேவகி - வாசுதேவருக்கு எட்டாவது மகனாக கிருஷ்ண பகவான் அவதாரம் எடுத்தார். கிருஷ்ணர் பிறந்தது சிறைச்சாலையில். சிறைச்சாலையில் பிறந்த கிருஷ்ணர், கோகுலத்தில் வளர்ப்புத் தாய் யசோதையால் வளர்க்கப்பட்டான்.
